What to expect on your first session

My aim is to help you feel better, in the immediate, and long term. To relieve stress, to nourish, and to support you to be your best!

During your first session we will take time to get to know each other. You will be free to share any physical and emotional reasons for seeking the session which will help me to support you during the session and help us to achieve your intention beyond it - e.g. areas of tension or symptoms of stress, anxiety or trauma, massage preferences. I am guided by your energies, supporting your body’s physiological systems . Energy channels and the chakras (metaphors for our essence as sentient beings) are a central part of my focus, as is the calming of the nervous system. In summary, you can expect a space that is all about you, enabling release and repair from stress, chronic pain and trauma as well as a means of simply supporting good health.

The massage will be around 90 minutes. It takes place on a table in a comfortable warm relaxing room with supporting gentle music. Using oil and towels the massage typically starts with grounding and guidance in relaxation, moving on to the back of the body in a rhythmical flow from neck and shoulders down to the feet, then to the front of the body from the feet to the shoulders and finally to the head and face. I hold a safe and confidential space and I work in a very adaptable way to meet your needs - YOU are always in control.

You will be left in stillness at the end of the massage to have time to relax and integrate before returning to ‘life’. There is a private bathroom and changing space.
