I have explored and trained in Ayurvedic, chronic pain management, Lomi Lomi and other massage techniques over a number of years in the UK and abroad.

I am a qualified hypnotherapist and variously experienced in trauma recovery, supporting people with deep trauma, through massage and bodywork over a number of years. This followed on from a career working with children, and adults, recovering from trauma and abuse that often originated from adverse childhood experiences . This has all deeply informed my appreciation of the value of somatic treatments and how important it is for healing and general human well-being - I believe massage, in the right hands, is more grounded and often more powerful than non contact energy and talking therapies and that everything comes back to the body; it is where pain and suffering manifests but is also the route to relief, release, healing, good health, joy and longevity. A balanced body supports and enables a balanced and healthy mind and brain.

My massage is often described as ‘not a massage, it’s an experience’. I offer a high level of flexibility to meet diverse needs working with you, and your energies, in a safe space. I aim to blend the best elements of traditional Ayurvedic holistic principles of balance and wellbeing with deep relaxation techniques. This can be a great support to those on a journey that may already include counselling, meditation and other self or specialist healing work. I know from my clients that massage is profoundly nourishing and strengthening to them and my reward is seeing the benefits this brings to people, whether that is letting go of sometimes deep pain and trauma or receiving more balance and uplift to ride out life’s stresses and strains.

I work from my studio in Lewes and am available for yoga and other retreats here and abroad. I hope to meet you :-)
